Rolling Workshop:
Unfunk Your Feet

6:30-8:30 PM

  • In this 2 hour workshop, we will explore foot anatomy - and why feet matter so much. We’ll also chat about the science of self-myofascial release (rolling), and how/why we use it to ease pain, improve balance, and help you get the most from all your workouts!

  • We’ll practice various strategies for rolling the feet (tops, bottoms, sides), and make sure you find the ones that are accessible and useful for YOU. You’ll see the usefulness of rolling on your own body, immediately!

  • We want you to use these strategies outside our studio walls! So you’ll leave with your own set of Yoga Tune Up Original balls AND 1 month of free access to the foot rolling videos in our Rolling Library.

The Big 5:
Basic Moves of Strength Training

Why join The Big 5?

  • We’ll teach and review the 5 main moves you’ll find in most strength training sessions: Squat, Hinge, Lunge, Upper Body Push, Upper Body Pull. You’ll finish feeling more confident about joining a group strenth class - especially our Circuit 45 class!

  • If you experience pain trying to DIY strength training, or are confused by cues thrown around in group classes - this is the session for you! We’ll help you understand your own body, what cues you need, and which ones you can ignore. By the end you’ll be ready to lift with less pain and more confidence, knowing when to push yourself and when to pull back.

  • Strong foundations anchor tall buildings. Feeling confident, safe, and pain-free with the basics leaves you ready to add load, tempo, and power to your workouts.
